Section 14(1)(2)(c) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) provides that the participation by the people in their government shall be ensured in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. In guaranteeing the right of every Nigerian to freedom of expression, including freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart ideas and information without interference, section 39(1) of the Constitution imposes on the public the obligation to think, generate, impart and share ideas that could be of help to government.

The Centre will be visiting communities and organised groups in Enugu State educating them about this constitutional obligation and making them willing and able to impart and share ideas through this website and other social and electronic media platforms.


For the visit to communities and organised groups to be possible, your support is needed. Support could be in any of the following ways:
1. Financial: Monies received will assist the Centre maintain its office, take care of logistics and entertainment during visits.

a. Donation of a bus: A bus will assist the Centre convey staff, materials and equipment to communities and organised groups to be visited.
