The Ultimate good desired is better reached by free trade in ideas

Chapter ll of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,1999, as amended contains the goodies, the democracy dividends Nigerians expect from their government; their government at the federal, state and local council levels. Among the expectations are:
1. Ensuring the security and welfare of the people.
2. Controlling the economy and making use of available resources in such manner as to secure the maximum welfare, freedom and happiness of every citizen on the basis of social justice, equality of status and opportunity.
Whereas it has been rightly stated that ideas are the raw material of progress, and that all achievements, all earned riches have their beginning in an idea, the pursuit of the above expectations by government can only be possible through ideas available to government. In our government of the people, by the people and for the people, the ideas to be put to work by government must not necessarily come from the government alone. Some of the ideas can come from the people, the public. In line with its mission of promoting and facilitating public participation in government, Democratic Faith Advocacy Centre has developed a platform where the public can contribute and share ideas; progressive ideas that government can put to work to ensure and advance the security, welfare and happiness of its people. Under its programme, "Meet the People Programme" the Centre is visiting communities and organised groups in Enugu State informing and enlightening them about the Platform and making them willing and able to contribute and share ideas through it.
